Reading for January 7th
Students read the story on p. 128, "The Horse Snake", and we talked about chronological order. They created their own timeline of their life with at least 6 events from their life. Once they had shared their time line, they completed a chronological time line of the story listing the next 5 events.
We also discussed 'setting' for a non-fiction story.
