1. The top (words and pictures) and bottom (paragraph) of this template will go together like in previous lessons, with the top being glued down to the bottom by the side tabs only (see first photo). But, it is easier if you color code the top and annotate the bottom before gluing together.

2. It is necessary that this template be color coded, so for the sake of coherence I’m assigning each sensory category a color. The color code will be with the templates below.

3.  Underline the sentences that go with each sense using the correct colors.

4. After the sides are glued and have dried for a minute or two, you can snip the vertical line up the middle to make two shutters that can be opened. You can leave it this way with three squares on each shutter, OR you can choose to snip each horizontal line so that you’ve got 3 mini-shutters on the right and 3 on the left.
