Alliteration & Personification
The personification lesson started with the following video:

The students were asked what each clip had in common and the definition of PERSONIFICATION was given - giving human traits or characteristics to animals or inanimate objects.
As a class we did the first five together to ensure understanding and the second five were done independently.
Moving to 'Alliteration', the students viewed the following video:

Each student was given a letter of the alphabet and instructed to decorate the letter and use it to create their own alliteration. I gave the example of 'Suzie sells seashells by the seashore' as one for the letter 'S'.
